The client was attracted to this property for its location, light filled spaces and city views.  We undertook major renovations to update and further open the rooms to light.  A dark narrow galley kitchen was opened up to a dining area and living room.  The new kitchen's leaded glass china cabinets, beautiful painted finishes, stone and tile lend formality to the new open floor plan.  The herringbone patterned walnut floor and custom area rugs in the dining and living areas ground the eclectic selection of furniture and fabrics.  Handsome light fixtures, custom lamp shades, wall coverings, luxurious curtains, pillows and trims throughout give a polish to the rooms.  As in all our projects, we have collaborated with many accomplished artists and craftsmen/women to realize our design vision.
